http://img.pcauto.com.cn/images/pcautogallery/modle/article/201410/14/14132768860492710_600.jpg 最新一代Carrera GTS的功率相比Carrera S更大，316kW（430PS）的最大功率已经与上代（997）的GT3相同。目前Carrera车系共有三个动力阶梯，分别是Carrera、Carrera S以及Carrera GTS。GTS版本除了动力的增强，其车身高度也有所降低，并针对赛道做了专门的调校，相比普通Carrera S旨在为赛道表现做出更多贡献。
http://img.pcauto.com.cn/images/pcautogallery/modle/article/201410/14/14132768873167270_600.jpg 保时捷911 GT3系列是最接近赛车表现的911车型，当然这代车型还没有推出更为极致的GT3 RS版本。但GT3相对更多的用户显得过于极端，那么GTS版本正好可以弥补从Carrera到GT3这个过程中的中间空挡。GTS相比普通911车型拥有更强的性能，声浪也已经被特殊处理更加凶悍，但相比GT3却保留了更多舒适配置，价格也更为亲民。

http://img.pcauto.com.cn/images/pcautogallery/modle/article/201410/14/14132991192684280_600.jpg 相比Carrera S，保时捷为3.8L水平对置发动机增加了额外的30马力在GTS车型上。如今这台发动机能输出316kW（430PS）的最大功率，当然这台发动机也配备直接燃油喷射（DFI）和VarioCam可变气门升程升级版，只看功率的话这台自然吸气发动机的输出已经与997时代的GT3平起平坐，性能可想而知。
